There are times in various stages of parenting that we find things are much busier. I have also found that you can exponentially multiply this level of busyness per child you have.
From 7 years old to 17 years old my six sons each have their own needs right now. Needs that mean I must focus differently for a season.
I know that this season is but a moment in time in the larger scope of life. So I have chosen to give as much of me as I can to it. This has meant little to no writing for me and as difficult as that is, it’s where I need to be right now.
For just one moment.
My oldest son’s senior year has been daunting to me as I do what I can to participate in everything I need to, and to help him succeed and see the year through.
My younger three at a new elementary school and trying to make sure we all adjust to the newness involved in that.
My other two teenagers in 8th and 9th grades needing to focus and deal with balancing themselves and keeping priorities in check. So much parenting to do this year, and yet, it will last for only a moment.
Plus it’s football season…with three of them playing… need I say more? It’s crazy busy.
So as I focus on life, continuing to create a homey environment in our new home, parenting our 6 sons and dealing still with my own health issues, writing here has fallen a bit by the wayside.
There are days I am so exhausted I can’t even begin to imagine what I could possibly offer here. So for the next little bit, I may be a little quieter than usual. Hopping on to offer a few thoughts or photos. I’m also still without a computer which has proven devastating for my outlet of designing both blogs and wall art.
I so look forward to being able to write and design again…..soon. Until then, I greatly encourage all of you to go through the archives. There are so many amazing old posts. In fact I hope to revive a few again in this season.
I hope you’re all enjoying this moment in your own little world! I wish you many blessings and much hope.
